Both my kids attended Green Man up to the point where they left to go to the local primary school and loved it. Great place, with friendly staff who clearly like kids - and like interacting with them. I particularly liked the fact that they didn't tie me into going every day and that the lunch-club gave me until 1:15pm. Their previous premises had a nice big garden. The current place doesn't have quite such a nice outdoor play-space, but they are clearly working hard to make it better.
A wonderful preschool. This is the first place I left my little boy other than with relatives and I was instantly sure that he would be happy there. The staff enjoy being with the children and my son loves it. The staff have taken a quite shy little boy and helped him to blossom into a confident, opinionated person. There are lots of different activities for the children to do every day and the parents are all very involved too which makes it feel friendly. You can choose how many days your child attends and so start them off slowly if you want to. I can only recommend it.

Students complain they can't even eat they're lunch they also complain school need to be repair i believe teachers ok but school management is rubbish i will change my rate if i hear something good from students thanks
I have a daughter, who is halfway through Woodford County school and myself am an experienced Teacher. Being a grammar school, they have amazing calibre of girls entering Year 7. You need to have the ability, determination and cope with hard work for a chance to be amongst the top 180 applying to this school. However, with all this, I feel the school management and vision is not fulfilling these girls potential. My daughter enjoys school. However, she feels certain things are lacking, which should be offered at the school. First, it is a girls school and we feel that there should be more emphasis on regular lunch and afterschool clubs that move away from 'soft' and girly activities like mehndhi, fashion and cooking. There is not a good range of sports compared to other schools and they do not compete with other schools in a wide range of sports. Where there is football or basketball (no cricket or rugby) at lunchtime, there is no consistency so girls often gets demotivated to attend as days and venue changes. Hence, results in not many girls attending. There is a very slow communication line between school and students so opportunities or competitions are suddenly informed a few days or a week before. Also as a parent and teacher, I find that marking and diagnostic feedback is not consistent and lacks constructive feedback in most subjects. How will these girls know what to improve without clear direction? This should be tackled on the school improvement plan. Finally, talking to a lot of her friends from different year groups, they all seem to mention there is favoritism shown by teachers towards certain students that it does impact students when working in groups or getting noticed for their hard work. Like I said, she enjoys the school but expected more in certain areas that I know nearby state comprehensive are doing a good job at. Not being negative but these are areas need to be worked on. I can see Ilford County is doing a better job at these areas.

Brilliant school. Staff are all hardworking and fantastic. Head is switched on. They will get your child to achieve the best.
A very good school, best teaching standards, good customer services. The only thing parents and pupils don't like is the fact that you can't buy their uniforms from the shops like other schools. This is weird! It's as if one company has paid them to ensure that they only produce the uniforms.

The school is full of many well behaved students, despite the disruptive students, the school has a great learning environment. I must admit the school is quite lenient, however that is only towards things such as hair or jewelry however they will not tolerate bullying in any shape or form or violence. Quite frankly I have studied in both Connaught School for Girls and Leytonstone school and the learning environment in Leytonstone School is much better that the one in Connaught as they give you more one-on-one support and have high expectations of every student.
A verry succesfull school by like any other school in has many behaviour issues

The very BEST Math tutor in Essex. You need look no further. Alpha Maths tutored my daughter from a projected C to an A* for her GCSE. Firstly 5 stars are not enough for the dedicated and professional service we received from Alpha Maths. I cannot but recommend them for what they did for my daughter. Great service. Brilliant teacher.
