We were able to check in prior to the set time on the reservation. This was wonderful because we actually arrived earlier than we expected. The hotel is decent and my room was nice. It was James Bond themed! Continental breakfast was fine but they need more than one coffee machine. The area is a bit sketchy but it was fine. The underground tube station is a bit away from the hotel but the walk is flat and easy to do. Overall this was a good place to stay.
Where to begin. There is pretty much no parking, but I knew that from a review on booking dot com. There are no lamps, just main lights. There isn't a thermostat so no control over temperature. The bathroom sink will fill but not empty. The key card works as and when it feels like it. Most tv channels are unwatchable due to interference and there doesn't seem to be a way to rectify this with the remote. The furniture is used and shoddy. The plus sides Are, it's clean, it's comfortable and the staff are excellent. Pity the rooms aren't as good as the people. Reinvestment maybe? I wouldn't consider staying again. Just being honest.

It has been a very good experience. The receptionist was so welcoming , helpful and polite . Very smartly dressed. I didn't expect dinner to be very good after eating in other Holiday Inn Express . The Express are normally of a poor standard in every way . This Express is very different. My room is spotless , nice decor, relaxing lighting . Yet again a very , very nice room in each detail. The young woman who waited on the restaurant table was yet again so friendly .
Absolutely brilliant service as guests but more so in reference to being a wheelchair user, Holiday Inn are ALWAYS great but when you have additional needs, their staff are only too happy to accommodate and it's all done without even asking. Room was spotless and plenty of space to get about as was the adapted bathroom, it is a great combination as a standard bathroom with the addition of the facilities I need to be able to access the shower and toilet with total ease. Great nights sleep and two pillows!!! Barbara who checked us in last night was just everything great customer service should be - even accompanying us to our room to ensure the adjustments were in place in our accessible room. Thank you for a comfortable, clean and attentative service.

ASTONISHING QUALITY AND VALUE for the price. The hotel is small but very modern, lovely and clean. The front desk staff is very kind and accommodating. They were helpful in ordering taxis for us and printing boarding passes. There’s a very handsome young guy that works the night shift and he was always super kind and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend to anyone especially Americans looking for a great place for an awesome price. There’s also a very tasty restaurant called Sahara on the same street. Definitely stop by if you come to this hotel.
Great hotel rooms and friendly staff. Food at the restaurant is amazing from breakfast to dinner. I think this is a family owned hotel who surely go the extra mile to make all guests happy. Parking is very limited and must be booked in advance but there is plenty free off street parking and the front desk reps advise where to go. I totally recommend this hotel

Very good service with nice surroundings. Food good and plenty for kids to do outside if they become bored after their meal. Would definitely go back.
Really great place for kids as well as live music on the nights when they have it. Big outdoor space at the back and during the summer they have a bar outside too. Good selection of ales always present and food is fab too.

Nice place, friendly staff, good burger really tasty. A good selection of bottled craft beer although no traditional IPAs or bitters on tap. Good place to go I'd definitely recommend it.
Relaxed atmosphere for Friday lunch - jerk chicken, burgers and sticky toffee pud all very good.

Having happily eaten here on many occasions over a number of years since the change of hands it was really disappointing this week to discover they are no longer open for lunch. Even more disappointing, no bar snacks until 6:30pm. I really think this policy needs re-thinking...even if that means introducing bar snacks that can be prepared by bar staff. Last night, having come with the intention of having dinner, we left and ate elsewhere. Given there is lots of local competition I think the Queens Arms has gone a step too far and will lose even some of the business they'd like to keep as a result. Where it used to be one of the first places we'd consider for after work drinks then dinner, we'll now almost certainly look at other offerings first.
One of the glass collectors took an almost full glass of wine from my friend. The poor lad either needs to get his eyes tested or find an alternative form of employment more suited to his talents and abilities. Nice selection of beer though and in a lovely spot.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

An openfield of grass, nothing much around but fairly clean with plenty of spaces for running and football. Eid in the park is done here by Tarbiya Centre which is nice.
Wonderful and tranquil, great place for long walks and a bit of peace!
