Absolutely excellent, friendly, helpful and very informative service. I would thoroughly recommend this shop. I learned a lot which I did not know. My bike is pretty ancient and the shop is ostensibly full of top of the range bikes, equipment and folk who know all about such things, yet you do not feel like any job is too small or bike too old! I received excellent service for an old bike and a small repair job. I had a flat tire which was fixed fairly quickly from just popping in (the gentleman had several jobs already to do, he explained) so I was contacted when it was ready and it was all sorted within a few hours, for a very reasonable price.
I've been using Mamachari in Walthamstow for the past year and would highly recommend using this place to anyone! They offer a wide range of well-priced services and have always returned my bike in perfect condition with a quick turnaround. The staff provide excellent advice on when to buy or repair bike parts and even give handy tips on general bike upkeep to prevent you from wasting time and money on otherwise avoidable servicing. They'll also keep you in the loop when your bike's being serviced (contact you if something needs replacing / let you know when the bike is ready etc.) so there's no waiting around or unexpected costs when you go to pick up! A great example of why you should use your local bike shop!

Bought my wife a Whyte hybrid bike and they fitted a baby seat and got a special infant helmet for our little one. Very professional and knowledgeable advice on what we wanted. A great local shop that should be supported
Went to heales cycles quite naive. Got excellent advise not pushy! Went back 3 times which was not a problem to them (very patient). Before eventually deciding on a 29 CS Whyte. have also joined their group mountain biking from the shop, which has given me support in coming out and riding in group with a great social community! This has also given me more confidence to go out on my own as well as the shop rides. Great shop and friendly advise recommend to anyone!

I purchased a 2nd hand bike here and the frame broke after 4 months, the main guy fixed it with no charge which was good. Problems still continued though, the wheel axle broke soon after and my gears seized up. I've given up there and gone to another shop. Their customer service could be better, and for me personally it wasn't ideal when i needed a bike to function every day for work. I would say they're ok but unfortunately for them a lot better services are out there.
Great place! The prices are reasonable and my bike was done in a couple of hours. The staff there are LOVELY! Thanks so much for resurrecting my bike!

I had a little trouble opening the locker on my 1st attempt. Other then that, I would recommend the Scheme to others, who are currently unable to purchase a Folding bike.

Great customer service when we came to hire mountain bikes, and the bikes were pretty much brand new. Friendly staff, very reasonably priced (£15 for a half day) and five minutes cycle from the bottom of Epping Forest. Worth figuring out the route in advance if you want to get to the upper bit of the forest as we got a bit lost!
A great bike store and workshop in East London. I used them for the first time several weeks ago to rent a bike for a friend visiting me in London. They got us a nice Trek road bike at a very competitive price and the overall rental experience was great. Today I had my bike serviced at Biketrax and the service was second to none. The guys are helpful, polite and the quality of service is very good. Highly recommended.
