Local Bookshops

Waterstones

30, Selbourne Walk Shopping Centre, 31 Selborne Rd, Walthamstow, London E17 7JR, UK – 020 8521 3669

Lovely bookshop with a beautifully designed store laid out over two floors. Extensive children's book section with all the popular and award winning favourites for this category. I buy books for my boys from here on a regular basis. Offers and deals are always available. Lots of extras like board games and children's toys. Overall very satisfying experience and staff are always fantastic and helpful.

Surprisingly well stocked store with a decent range and an upstairs floor with seating for good quality browsing. Most stores now.dissiade browsing but Waterstones Walthamstow branch certainly ticks the boxes. Staff are helpful and engaging too. Lots of young children and.grown ups but it appears to miss out on the teen crowd which of course is the hardest group to reach.

The Village Bookshop

475 High Rd, Woodford, Woodford Green IG8 0XE, UK – 020 8506 0551

Really nice bookshop with lots of variety, close to my school, so I walk there sometimes.(Although you never really know when it’s open)

Lovely local bookshop. The lady that runs it was knowledgeable and made a real effort with my young son.
