Food is average however they supposedly have a kids corner. Some other mummies and I, we like to go there as the kids can play in one room while we eat. It works on most days - we go there once every couple of months for lunch- except for the last time we were there. One customer and a manager told us off because the kids were too loud in the room and kept in running between our table and the room when they needed something. The table was next to the room and no other customers were in between. The customer who complained was on the other side of the room. The kids were 3 years old and didn't see each other for a couple of months (it was also one of them late birthday/get together). They were as loud as any 3 years old playing in a room dedicated to them. After been told off by the customer and the manager having a word with us, we felt we had to leave. Most of us didn't finished or even started our lunch so we asked for takeaway boxes. The kids didn't have any of their paid dessert which was included on their lunch menu. Will we go there again? No as the main attraction was the kids room which they can't use unless they sit quietly watching the TV screen and not play.
Great food and good service to start... Then seemed to get worse towards the end with two deserts ordered, one of which was forgotten, then a 20min wait to get the bill. Would try again to see if this was a one off.

Great Portuguese food at very reasonable prices. It can get very busy at dinner time even on regular week days so it’s better to book in advance. The staff are generally friendly but when it’s busy they can forget basic norms of customer service like welcoming customers.
Generous portions (too generous sometimes!) and well priced for the food on offer. I would expect to pay at least £19 for and Octopus so I totally can’t complain about pricing. Wines are half the price I usually pay for in restaurants in Wanstead Woodford so I can imagine this business profit margin is low for value/quality! had the Steak which was so so Tender and tasty and the Octopus which was perfectly cooked. It was so busy and the waiters were rushed off their feet but so friendly and attentive, The owners made time to talk to us and welcome us and the waiter explained the wine list too. Little touches go a long way, No fussy, trendy nonsense- authentic cosy restaurant! Will be back

Good menu offering at the place. A regular customer at this restaurant the food tastes good! Can't fault it even though under new management the rest of the staff remain. The clay pot dishes taste exquisite also try the prawn soup!
Visited the restaurant with my family and absolutely loved the food. The menu offered a fanstastic range - spoilt for choice really! All the food was freshly made; so definitely well worth the wait. The kids meal arrived first which was great I thought, as less fuss when we are eating and can really enjoy the meal. We ordered the Thai fish cakes for starters - really liked the sauce dip as well. The Aromatic duck was very well cooked and the Pad Thai was to die for. The chicken sizzler was mouth-watering! Great service from all the staff; very friendly and polite and good ambience. Would highly recommend :)
